Elektron supports the RADIUS authentication and accounting server SNMP MIBs as defined by RFC 2619 and RFC 2621. Use the SNMP pane in the Elektron Settings application to configure SNMP support. The options available are:
- Enable SNMP This option must be selected in order for Elektron to support SNMP requests.
- SNMP Port By default, Elektron listens for SNMP requests on port 5398. Elektron includes its own built-in SNMP agent, so if you have a standard system agent running on port 161, use a different port for Elektron to avoid conflicts.
- Enable SNMPv1 Elektron supports both SNMPv2 and SNMPv2c.
- Enable SNMPv2c At least on SNMP version must be enabled.
- Community The community that must be used when making SNMP requests. If left blank, the default is “public”.
