Elektron was designed to work with the Wi-Fi client software built into popular operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac OS X. This means you do not need to install and manage third party software on your corporate laptops.

Windows

Microsoft began shipping WPA Enterprise support with Windows XP Service Pack 1. With the release of Windows XP Service Pack 2, support was added for WPA2. Elektron is fully compatible with the Windows XP and Windows Vista implementations of PEAP.

Mac OS X

Beginning with Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, Apple has been including WPA Enterprise client support in every copy of Mac OS X. This includes protocol support for both EAP-TTLS and PEAP, both of which are fully compatible with Elektron. Configuration is easy using the System Preferences application on users' Macbooks and Macbook Pros.

Linux

Elektron is tested against the open source wpa_supplicant client. wpa_supplicant supports a large number of authentication methods compatible with Elektron, allowing your to use your Linux-powered laptops securely on your Wi-Fi network.
